The PacREF Facilitating Unit (PFU) in collaboration with the Implementing Agencies (IAs) have started convening a consultative forum with countries which we are calling the National Fono.

During the National Fono, the Ministry of Education staff will be briefed on the PacREF programme and its implementation. Ministries may share their sector plan strategies and priorities for the IAs consideration. The main objective of the National Fono is to create greater awareness in countries of the PacREF programme and discuss how best to work together to maximise its impact in supporting national education goals.
